Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 1 scoop chocolate ice cream
- 1 scoop strawberry ice cream
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 2 tablespoons strawberry syrup
- 2 tablespoons pineapple topping (or crushed pineapple in syrup)
- Whipped cream, to taste
- Chopped peanuts or walnuts
- 3 maraschino cherries
Instructions
1. Peel the banana and slice it lengthwise.
2. Place the two halves in a long banana split dish or oval plate.
3. Arrange the three scoops of ice cream between the banana halves — traditionally vanilla in the center, chocolate and strawberry on the sides.
